In the mix the vocals are smacked with a whole lot of compression, with even more compression on the mix buss. <br />The mic was somewhat overhead (probably at eye level) looking down at my mouth. <br />Just yesterday I'd solo'ed the vocal track and comically there's the sounds of yowling cats all over it. I don't know why Winston decided to be so talky while I was recording it but it's really funny (I don't think you can hear it on the final mix.)Andrew Bellwarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05718623679244389126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2747615155474198588.post-91616248914521872442017-12-20T18:30:49.194-05:002017-12-20T18:30:49.194-05:00This is your bro, bro. Glad she held up fine - I have seen several other similar cases, and a full drop has yet to do any more damage than dent the screen. And I see you've cleverly added a little directional indicator to the front face. I'm debating what kind of mark I might add as part of the design. I really appreciated your clear and concise explanation.. I had developed a clue from your previous post on the subject but now I've got a clue and half or maybe two. In fact I'm now developed such a comprehensive understanding of the issues that I've announcing my next great invention: guitar necks with staggered frets so that each string is tuned properly at each half step. Each string will have it's own set of fret bridges, in other words, rather than one-size-fits-all straight across the neck.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08598053087827628640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2747615155474198588.post-19698044259025509192012-11-15T08:56:05.555-05:002012-11-15T08:56:05.555-05:00Nice recording!
